Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a rotary force with a magnetic force by linking with a worm a rotation caused in a worm wheel by the magnetic force generated in combination of the worm with gears formed from a permanent magnet and the worm wheel. CONSTITUTION:A worm 1 has threads W1 and W2 constructed of two lines of permanent magnets and a worm wheel 2 also has gears H1 and H2 constructed of two lines of permanent magnets. The worm 1 and the worm wheel 2 are connected together in such a manner that a constant clearance is maintained between threads and gears meshed with each other. When the threads W1 and W2 and the gears H1 and H2 are so selected that the negative pole is on the thick line and the S pole on the opposite side, a magnetic force produces a rotary force in the worm wheel in the direction of the arrow. The force is linked to the worm to start the rotation thereof.
