To easily identify the located position and the attitude at orientation from appearance by having marks indicating the position located in a press forming mold and the attitude at the position.
A marking die 10 forms recesses 9a-9f as marks at specified positions on a plurality of magnets 8a-8f, press worked by a pair of upper and lower punches 4, 5 facing each other in cavities. The marking die 10 is set so as to align a protrusion 10a with a position corresponding to the required position of the recess 9a-9f of each magnet 8a-8f. The magnetic field molding apparatus is composed of dies defining cavities, both punches 4, 5, coils 6, 7, and the marking die 10. Thus, the magnets can be grouped into three sets: 8a, 8f; 8b, 8e; 8c, 8d and hence a prescribed number of magnets can be extracted by identifying from the appearance and mounted in a rotor of a motor, thereby setting magnets having similar magnetic characteristics.
