Abstract:
To provide a molding die unit capable of strengthening a magnetic field of a magnetic pole of a magnet piece forming a magnet roll, and a manufacturing method of the magnet piece.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a die unit 60 for molding a mixture consisting of ferromagnetic particles and a thermoplastic resin extruded into a die 5 into a magnet piece of which the cross section is fan-shaped. A pair of die cavities 50 having an axial fan-shaped cross section are disposed in such a manner that fan-shaped inner peripheral surface sides are opposed, and magnets 8 and 17 for orientation are disposed at outer peripheral surface sides of the mold cavities 50. One of the magnets 8 and 17 for orientation is constituted of main magnets 11 and 19 of which the magnetization direction is toward the mold, and a pair of side magnets 9, 10, 17 and 18 having a magnetization direction which is tilted in the magnetization direction of the main magnets 11 and 19. The pair of side magnets 9, 10, 17 and 18 are disposed so as to hold the main magnets 11 and 19 therebetween.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
