Abstract:
To provide a magnetic coupling that prevents rotation of a shaft to be rotated from being interrupted due to entrance of a magnetic material from a process treatment chamber to the vicinity of a magnet of the shaft to be rotated.SOLUTION: A magnetic coupling 1 includes a driving body 20, a driven body 3, and a partition wall 50. A magnetic torque transmission unit is formed between an outer coupling magnet 21 of the driving body 20 and an inner coupling magnet 35 of the driven body 3. The driven body 3 has a disc magnet 36. The disc magnet 36 is fixed to the outer peripheral surface of a shaft to be rotated 30 at a position closer to the bearing 100S side with respect to the inner coupling magnet 35. A magnetic material P flowing out of a processing space H via the bearing 100S is caught by the disc magnet 36, and the magnetic material P is prevented from entering the inner coupling magnet 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
