Abstract:

To provide a small-sized, light, and high-sensitivity magnetic detecting device.

The flowing direction of a detecting current which is caused to flow in a magnetoresistance element 2 to detect a change in current as a change in a magnetic field, is switched alternately by a current polarity switchover means 9. By finding the average value of output voltage values detected by a voltage detecting means 8 when detecting currents are caused to flow in individual directions, a magnetic field can be detected reducing an error caused by the influence by a magnetic field generated by the detecting current, and improvement of the sensitivity of magnetic field detection is realized without using any external coils.
