Abstract:
PURPOSE:To remove foreign objects such as dust, etc., sticked to the surface of a jacket with the move of a shutter by providing a driving means in a magnetic disk cartridge. CONSTITUTION:Crimping parts 217a and 217b of a clip 211 get contact with ribs 231a and 231b to be formed in the internal part of a magnetic disk cartridge 100 and by these ribs 231a and 231b, the crimping parts 217a and 217b are pushed to a magnetic disk 121 side and crimp the end parts of the magnetic disk 121. In such a state, since the clip 211 is moved by a slide pin 301, the magnetic disk 121 is rotated by a prescribed amount. A shutter 151 opens head inserting ports 103 and 113 with the insertion of the magnetic disk cartridge 100 into a drive device. At such a time, the foreign objects such as dust, etc., sticked onto the surfaces of jackets 101 and 111 of the cartridge 100 fall down from the head inserting ports 103 and 113 onto the surface of the magnetic disk 121 by the end part of the shutter 151.
