Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the uniform speed performance, by changing the amplification factor of an amplifier which drives an actuator with each calibration and stopping the calibration when the shift time of a prescribed acceleration distance reaches the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A calibration control part CC15 controls 14 an amplifier 13 with a start signal 16 to set the amplification factor A at the minimum value and then sets a shift distance 17 to a track counter 1. The speed difference voltage 5 between a speed profile 3 and an actuator 9 is amplified, and the actuator 9 is accelerated with a driving current 8. The actuator 9 moves a fixed distance to generate a track pulse 12. The CC15 measures the time Tx required for a shift of a reference distance from a reference clock 19 and the pulse 12 with every generation of the pulse 12 and then delivers a control signal 14 to increase the factor A. When the time Tx is coincident with time Tx obtained with a standard speed locus, the CC15 stops calibration. This eliminates the manual control and ensures the uniform speed performance.
