PURPOSE: To execute a high-accuracy tracking by using a magnetic disk which is less deformed at the time of chucking.
CONSTITUTION: The average center height on the surface of a clamping region 3 of the magnetic disk 1 having a magnetic layer formed on a disk substrate formed by injection molding of a resin is set at ≤0.5μm, the max. average center height at ≤2μm, the unequal plate thickness at ≤10% and the parallelism between the front surface and the rear surface at ≤20μm. A servo mark region 6 in a magneticrecording region 2 is provided with rugged servo marks. Recording tack parts are formed in a projecting shape and guard band parts in a recessed shape in a data region 5. The track pitch is, therefore, increased and the higher recording density is attained.
