Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-sensitivity magnetic reproducing head, that has a magnetic information transfer film which can supply enough magnetic information to a magnetoresistance effect element.
SOLUTION: This magnetic head has a magnetoresistance effect element, and the element's surface facing the recording medium has a magnetic information transfer film which reads the information from the medium and transmits it to the element. The information read area is made larger than that of the magnetic information transfer film.
