Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the magnetic head slider which can suppress the exposure of a core block in a groove for coil and prevent a core and the coil or the cores from being short-circuited each other while sufficiently securing the strength on the rear end face side of a slider.
CONSTITUTION: For a groove 7 for coil of a magnetic head slider 1, a deep bottom face 71 almost pernpendicularly enters from a side face 21 on the side of a core block 8 of the slider 2 to this side face 21, and the groove 7 is formed to be bent or curved in the middle and to reach the rear end face 21 of the core block 8.
