Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of errors at the time of postreading by making the value of feed-through to ≤5% in a recording and reproducing magnetic head used for a magnetic tape device.
CONSTITUTION: Sealed blocks 17a, 17b, 18, 19 arranged so as to enclose magnetic head cores 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b are provided and also notches 13 between sealed blocks mutually of 17a, 17b, 18, 19 are positioned outside of gaps 3, 4. Consequently, the influence of magnetic fluxes generated from the notches 13 over the magnetic head cores 2a, 2b for reproduction is reduced.
