Title:
MAGNETIC LEVITATION CONVEYOR APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3348438
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To detect a touchdown(TD), when both left and right touchdown rollers (TR) come into contact with the facing sides of a rail and the left and right parts of the rail are connected electrically.
CONSTITUTION: When a running truck 11 is in a normal running state, the electric contacts of a detection circuit 10 are placed in OFF state and no electric current flows therethrough because both outer peripheral faces of TR16a, 16b are in non-contact with a levitation rail. On the other hand, when the running truck 11 is in TD state, the outer peripheral face of the TR16b comes into contact with the levitation rail 22b and that of the TR16a comes into contact with the stainless-steel plate 2a of a zone corresponding to the current position. As a result, the electric contact of the detection circuit 10 corresponding to this zone is placed in ON state and electric current flows through this part. Thus, the detection circuit 10 outputs a detection signal corresponding to this zone to a linear-motor controller (LC) 20. Then, the LC20 outputs a stop signal to the linear motor 14 of a zone corresponding to the detection signal to bring the motor to a stop before long.
