PURPOSE: To produce shielding vessels for which high-temp. superconductors consisting of ceramics of various shapes and sizes are used by shielding a measuring part with a vessel having the superconductor layer of a ceramics system for which a migration electro phoretic deposition method is used.
CONSTITUTION: The shielding vessel 3 is constituted of a housing 4 formed of easily workable metals, such as silver or copper, electroness plating or plastics subjected to a surface conducting treatment, such as electroplating, after working or nonmetals, such as ceramics, the superconductor layer 5 of the ceramics system coated by the migration electrophoretic deposition method on the housing 4 and a cooling vessel 6 for cooling the superconductor layer 5 by liquid nitrogen. The migration electrodeposi tion layer is formed by temporally calcining the yttrium oxide, barium carbonate and copper oxide, which are mixed at 1:2:3 ratio, adding this mixture together with the iodine refined by distillation into guaranteed acetone to suspend the same and executing electrophoretic deposition in this liquid. The regular calcination is executed by heating up a cylinder of the metal coated with the superconductor up to, for exam ple, about 940°C for 3 hours and holding the cylinder for 6 hours, then cooling down the cylinder down to 450 °C for 6 hours and holding the same for 4 hours, then cooling the cylinder down to ordinary temp. by spending 4 hours.
