Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent possible large errors in a clock generated from a reproduction signal during the reproduction.
CONSTITUTION: In the encoding of a block, a data of (m) bit is converted to a data of (n)(>m) bit and then, expressed in a NRSI code so that the continuation of 1 is below 2n-2 to be recorded into a recording medium utilizing inter- code interference. When m=8 and n=10 are given, the minimum run turns to 0 and the maximum run to 3 in the NRZI expression. The number of 1 contained in an NRZI expression data of a conversion data with n=10 is 9 or 8 at its maximum and Pr(1,1) is given in the inter-code interference.
