Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a magnetic recording medium of high areal recoding density in which write blur in magnetic recording is eliminated by minimizing coercive force and residual magnetization in areas between magnetic tracks.
In the manufacturing method of the magnetic recording medium 10 by which a magnetic layer 3 is prepared at least on one face of non-magnetic plate 1 and a magnetically separated magnetic pattern 3a is formed in this magnetic layer 3, atoms are distributed uniformly in a direction of thickness of this magnetic layer 3 and injected into the magnetic layer 3, and by unmagnetizing the magnetic layer 3 partially, non-magnetic sections 5 which magnetically separate the magnetic patterns 3a are formed.
