Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a magnetic recording medium capable of easy discrimination even when forgery or falsification is carried out by erasing normal magnetic recording information and recording false magnetic recording information.
CONSTITUTION: A laminated structure consisting of two or more layers is imparted to a magnetic recording layer and a layer contg. a magnetic material having high coercive force and a high Curie point is formed as at least one of the layers. This layer is not oriented and generates a magnetic field at the time when magnetic recording information in the magnetic recording layer is erased by a permanent magnet having high coercive force.
