Abstract:

To provide a magnetic refrigeration working substance and a magnetic cooling system regarding refrigeration technology supporting not only house appliances such as a refrigerator and a freezer in the vicinity of room temperature but also the gas liquefaction industry, a superconducting device or the like.

In NaZn13 type La(FexSi1-x)13Hy as a magnetic refrigeration working substance, Ce is partially substituted and H is absorbed, and its composition is converted into NaZn13 type La1-zCez(FexSi1-x)13Hy. In the magnetic refrigeration system, using the magnetic refrigeration working substance NaZn13 type NaZn13 type La1-zCez(FexSi1-x)13Hy by one kind, or a plurality ones in which the above composition is changed, cooling control is performed.
