Title:
MAGNETIC RESONANCE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11151306
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a device that transmits the motion of the particles of the subject of examination to the particles of a liquid via an electromagnetic wave, while simplifying the constitution of the device and reducing the cost of the device.

A pair of permanent magnets 12, 14 is provided below a table 4 comprising an acrylic plate 4a, aluminum foil 4b, and a lead plate 4c. The permanent magnets 12, 14 are disposed so that their respective N- and S-poles make contact with the lead plate 4c of the table 4, and metallic plates 16, 18 having the same diameter as the magnets 12, 14 are provided on the opposite end faces of the permanent magnets 12, 14. As a result, magnetic flux leading from the magnet 12 to the magnet 14 is formed over the table 4 and is straightened by the lead plate 4c, while a decrease in magnetic force that may be caused by the lead plate 4c is inhibited by the iron plates 16, 18. The subject of examination is placed in a position on the table 4 corresponding to the permanent magnet 12, and a container 8 holding alcohol is placed in a position corresponding to the permanent magnet 14, so that the motion of particles constituting the subject of examination causes fluctuation of the magnetic flux and produces an electromagnetic wave, which in turn causes vibration of the particles of the alcohol in the container 8.
