PURPOSE: To achieve a higher reliability of image diagnosis by providing a vertically moving mechanism which holds a top board inserted into an insertion port of an body to be inspected free to lift to allow the obtaining of a clear and highly accurate diagnosis image constantly.
CONSTITUTION: In a magnetic resonance image diagnosing apparatus which is provided with a bed 3 adapted to hold a top board 2 carrying an object 1 to be inspected free to lift, a magnet frame base 4 disposed in extension along the length of the bed 3, a guide rail 6a disposed on the bottom of an insertion port 5 for the object to be inspected as formed in the magnet frame base 4 and the top board 2 formed free to slide in a direction of length on the top surface of the bed 3 and on the guide rail 6a, a vertically moving mechanism 9 is provided to hold the top board 2 inserted into the insertion port 5 for the object to be inspected. In the vertically moving mechanism 9. for example, the guide rail 6a is placed at paper ends of two X leg links 11 expanding on a base 10 while a hydraulic cylinder 12 is arranged on the base 10 to adjust the opening of the X leg links 11. With an expanding action of the hydraulic cylinder 12, the X leg links 11 are opened or closed thereby lifting the guide rail 6a.
