To make it possible to easily perform adjustment work on an RF coil unit.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment comprises an RF coil unit, an adjustment section, and an output section. The RF coil unit transmits a high frequency magnetic field. The adjustment section adjusts impedance of the RF coil unit.
