Title:
MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013150701
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To allow an operator to set the imaging condition of parallel imaging without being conscious of a signal collection region of a reference scan, in an MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging).

This MRI apparatus includes a reference scan setting part, a reference scan execution part, and an image generation part. The reference scan setting part automatically calculates a signal collection region of a reference scan collecting MR signals for generating a sensitivity distribution map of each element coil according to an imaging region of the actual scan of parallel imaging. The reference scan execution part executes the reference scan in the automatically calculated signal collection region. The image generation part generates image data based on the MR signals collected by the actual scan and the sensitivity distribution map generated based on the MR signals collected by the reference scan.
