Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the tone quality of reproduced sound by preventing a sound signal which is read from a magnetic recording medium from being sampled during the period of emitting switching noises. CONSTITUTION:A clock pulse is outputted from a sampling clock generation circuit 8 at such timing that the period of emitting the switching noises may be included in the rise time of two adjacent clock pulses. The sound signal which is given from a low-pass filter 5 is sampled by a sample-hold circuit 6 in response to the rise of the clock pulse, and the signal voltage which is obtained as a result is held till the rise of the succeeding sampling clock so as to be kept on being outputted. And at last, the signal which is outputted from the sample-hold circuit 6 is smoothed by the low-pass filter 7. Then, the consecutive sound signals from which the switching noises are completely eliminated are outputted from the low-pass filter 7. Thus, the tone quality of the reproduced sound having a high frequency is improved.
