Title:
MAGNETIC TAPE DRIVER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6022758
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To drive assuredly a magnetic tape from the 2nd reel shaft to the 1st reel shaft at the same speed as that of an FF (fast forward) to perform surely the setting each driving mode and a brake operation and to simplify the constitution even though a magnetic signal is read out of the magnetic tape, by bringing a magnetic head into contact with the magnetic tape in case of an FF mode.

CONSTITUTION: In an FF mode the revolving power generated from a revolving power generating means is transmitted to the 2nd rotary member 24 and to the 1st rotary member 22 via a slip member 26. Furthermore the revolving power is transmitted directly to the member 22 with no intervension of the member 26. Therefore a magnetic tape 130 can be driven assuredly from a reel hub 122 of one side loaded to the 2nd reel shaft 14 to a reel hub 120 of the other side loaded to the 1st reel shaft 12 over the shaft 12 without producing any slip and even in case a pinch roller 46, record/reproduction head 48 and a tape shifter 90 have a slight contact with the tape 130.
