Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption of a battery by automatically turning on a light illuminating an object if necessary and automatically turning off the light if not necessary in a magnetic video recording device provided with a television camera.
CONSTITUTION: The light 2 illuminating the image pickup range of the television camera is provided on the case of the magnetic video recording device. A turning on switch 6 is automatically driven by interlocking it to the start and end of recording by the operation of a recording operation switch 8 and the light 2 is turned on only at the time of recording.
