PURPOSE: To transfer a tape guide with a variable speed and avoid the slack and the damage of a tape by a method wherein a driving force which is transmitted by a plate cam, is transmitted by retaining between a second tooth which has a pitch diameter different from the pitch diameter of a first tooth and the rack part of the plate cam.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of loading, a plate cam 230 is moved in a direction A by the driving force from a motor with a certain speed. The rack part 240 of the plate cam 230 is geared with the second tooth 193 of a gear 190 and the gear 190 is made to rotate in a direction E. The rotation angular velocity of this rotation of the gear 190 is smaller than a rotation angular velocity of the rotation by gearing the rack part 240 with a first gear 192. Therefore, the rotation angular velocity of a take-up side arm load gear 19 and the rotation angular velocity of a pay-off side arm load gear 20 which is geared with the arm load gear 19, are also reduced. Further, the transfer speed of a take-up side tape guide 9 which is transferred in a direction C through lever members 19b and 19d and the transfer speed of a pay-off side tape guide 10 which is transferred in a direction D through lever members 20b and 20d, are also reduced. With this constitution, the tape guide is transferred with a variable speed and the slack and the damage of the tape can be avoided.
