PURPOSE: To facilitate replacement when an ordinary plug is used by enabling the ordinary plug to be replaced easily with a magnetizable adapter for a magnet type receptacle.

CONSTITUTION: A magnetizable adapter for a magnet type receptacle is connected electrically and mechanically by magnetization to a magnet type receptacle arranged additionally on a wall surface or on the equipment side. A pair of terminal parts 3 and 3 formed continuously in the electrical continuity connecting parts 2 are arranged inside a body 1. Round shape plug edges 4 are connected to the terminal parts 3 so as to be projected from the body 1. A magnetizable plate 5 such as an iron piece is arranged in the end surface part of the body 1 between the pair of round shape plug edges 4 and 4. The electrical continuity connecting parts 2 are formed of edge receiving springs 6. Plug edge inserting holes 7 to these edge receiving springs 6 are formed in the body 1.
