Abstract:
To provide a method of magnetizing a multipolar magnet capable of adjusting surface magnetic flux density of a specific magnetized portion in a multipolar magnet and adjusting a surface magnetic flux density waveform along a magnetized surface of the multipolar magnet.SOLUTION: The magnetization method includes: using a magnetized yoke 20 having a plurality of salient poles k and a magnetizing coil 24 winding the salient poles k; disposing the salient poles k of the magnetized yoke 20 so as to face a plane of a permanent magnet 10; and performing multipole magnetization on the plane of the permanent magnet 10. An adjustment hole 40 is formed in an end face 29 of the salient poles k of the magnetized yoke 20 to adjust a surface magnetic flux density waveform in a multipolar magnet 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
