Abstract:
PURPOSE: To shorten the data access time of a magneto-optical disk.
CONSTITUTION: The dividing optical systems 5, 6 of the optical pickup device are respectively arranged on both sides of the magneto-optical disk 4 and these driving optical systems are always moved so as to opposite each other on the radius position of the magneto-optical disk. Then, when one dividing optical system executes data recording operation, data update operation is realized by two path operation by executing data erase operation in another dividing optical system.
