Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a magneto-optical recording medium which is intensified in thermal dimensional stability and resistance to a hydrolysis and is lessened in the hygroscopicity and double refraction of a base.
CONSTITUTION: This magneto-optical recording medium has such a structure that the layers are applied on another layers on a base 2. The medium has at least four-layered structures consisting of two layers of insulating layers 3 and 5, one layer of reflection layer 6 and one layer of magnet optical recording layer 4. The base consists of a polymer of polycyclic olefin by non-open ring polymn.
