To provide a write head that utilizes the magnetic characteristics of a high saturation moment material while popcorn noise is eliminated and while corrosion problem which is due to the use of the high saturation moment material is overcome.
The magnetic write head is provided with an open end and a closed end on the opposite side; it consists of a magnetic yoke defining an internal space released between the open and closed ends, and of a high saturation moment material at least for a part; and it includes a base part which is combined with the yoke at the open end, an electrically conductive coil a part of which passes through the internal space of the yoke, and an insulated body which is vapor-deposited inside the internal space of the yoke and which insulates the coil electrically from the yoke.
