Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the soft magnetic properties superior to those of an Fe-Ni alloy and to increase the magneto-resistance effect in the magneto-resistant alloy by selecting the compositional range in a quarternary alloy constituted of Fe, Co, Ni and Cu into the prescribed average numbers of electrons.
CONSTITUTION: The magneto-resistant alloy is formed from a quarternary alloy constituted of Fe, Co, Ni and Cu. Then in the compsn., the average numbers of electrons shown by the value of which the numbers of electrons in respective atoms constituting the alloy are weighted and averaged are selected into 27.6 to 27.8.
