Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a magnetron in low voltage, and perform highly efficient oscillation by constituting it of a magnet arranged so as to impart a magnetic field in the direction orthogonal to an impression electric field and an electron emitting part having a cold cathode whose emitter is formed in a linear or plane shape.
SOLUTION: A magnetron is composed of a plate-like cathode 4, an anode 1 which is oppositely arranged in parallel to the cathode 4 and has a function of adjusting phase speed of a high frequency, a magnet 8 arranged so as to impart a magnetic field in the direction orthogonal to an impression electric field of the cathode 4 and the anode 1 and an electron emitting part having a cold cathode whose emitter is formed in a linear or plane shape. Therefore, a high voltage transformer and an inverter can be obviated, and it can be driven in low voltage, and utilization efficiency of an electric current emitted from an emitter electrode can be enhanced.
