This magnification-variable optical equipment 1 is provided with: an ocular lens barrel 1; an ocular optical system 60 stored in the ocular lens barrel 1 and having an optical axis; an ocular optical system moving means 62 for moving lenses 3b, 4b constituting the ocular optical system 60 along an optical axis direction; an observation aperture 12 attached to an end part of the ocular lens barrel 1; and an observation aperture position regulating means 65 for moving the observation aperture 12 by an increase and decrease distance of an emission pupil distance due to the movent of the lenses 3b, 4b, along the optical axis direction, in synchronization with the movement of the lenses 3b, 4b along the optical axis direction by the ocular optical system moving means 62.
