Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting mirror with a stable mirror surface shape in which the entire length of an adjustment cable is unchanged even when the temperature of the adjustment cable is changed and the mesh shaped mirror surface set by the adjustment cable is not deformed.
SOLUTION: In the mesh main reflecting mirror that has a meshed surface and whose surface shape is adjusted by the adjustment cable, nodes 11 being components of a cable network corresponding to the shape of the main reflecting mirror are connected with the adjustment cable of a loop, a plyurality of mesh areas are formed by the adjustment cable 12 using a plurality of raw materials with different linear expansion coefficients in a way that the accumulated value of the respective linear expansions of a plurality of the raw materials is nearly zero.
