Abstract:
To mask malodors, especially human body odors, bathroom odors and odors from domestic waste, and to provide a fragrance composition comprising certain fragrance ingredients and to provide consumer products.
Provided is a malodor reducing composition comprising: at least one of (A) phenylglycidic acids represented by the following formula (1); and at least one of (B) 1,2-diketones represented by the following formula (2) or (3): and the mass ratios of the phenylglycidic acids (A) to the 1,2-diketones (B) being from 1:99 to 99:1. The invention also relates to the fragrance composition and consumer products containing this malodor reducing composition.
