Abstract:
To provide a management device, an accommodation system, an article delivery system, and a management method with which it is possible to expand the scope of uses of the accommodation system.SOLUTION: A management device manages an accommodation system that includes a plurality of storerooms constructed so as to be capable of controlling the temperature independently of each other, and a temperature detection unit for detecting the temperature per storeroom. This management device comprises: an acceptance unit for accepting the designation of a precooling temperature or a precooling time and an article to be precooled; a selection unit for selecting a prescribed storeroom as a storeroom for precooling, on the basis of a result of detection of the temperature per storeroom; a calculation unit for calculating a precooling completion period from the start to the end of a precooling process based on the precooling temperature or the precooling time, on the basis of the set temperature of the storeroom for precooling or a result of detection of the temperature and the physical properties of the article; and a precooling control unit for instructing the accommodation system to precool the article at the set temperature for the precooling completion period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
