Abstract:
To provide a virtual storage economically within a range that does not exceed overall performance of storage resources.SOLUTION: A management server 1 collects, from each of multiple physical servers 3, performance information for a first period, for each virtual storage 41 which virtually represents a storage to be mounted on a storage device 6, and collects, from the storage device 6, performance information for the first period, for each RAID group 80 which is a group of the virtual storages 41. The management server 1 predicts future increase of performance from a maximum performance pattern obtained by overlapping performance information for a virtual storage 41 to be moved, in a unit of second period which is shorter than the first period. The management server 1 determines a RAID group 80 where the virtual storage 41 to be moved is arranged, out of multiple RAID groups 80, using a predicted maximum performance pattern obtained by adding a result of the prediction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
