To provide a drawing administration system furnished with a function to manage information for release of drawings.
This drawing administration system outputs drawings from a drawing database storing drawing responding to user's input. The system is constituted to provide an authentication database storing user's attribute information including a user name and a department to which the user belongs in connection with a user ID, a log in authentication means to authenticate the user by using the user ID and allow the user to access to the drawing database, a retrieval means to retrieve the requested drawing file from the drawing database responding to a request for a drawing file by a user who has logged in, and a means to print the drawing attached with the user's attribute information stored in the authentication database when printing the drawing included in the retrieved drawing file.
