To provide a manhole with a floating preventer wherein a floating preventing member with relatively high strength can be manufactured inexpensively and can be stably and reliably fixed to the manhole while being easy to be attached from the inside of the manhole.

The manhole with a floating preventer has a plurality of floating preventing members 2 projecting radially from the outer peripheral surface of the manhole. The floating preventing member is composed of a synthetic resin sleeve 3, reinforcement containing concrete 4 placed in the sleeve, and a fixed flange 7 fixed to an inner wall 5 of the manhole with anchor bolts 6. A reinforcement 10 is disposed in the sleeve while the sleeve is screwed to the fixed flange. A ready-mixed concrete inlet 15 is formed in the center of the fixed flange. A water-inflating packing 9 is fixed with an adhesive between the outer periphery of the sleeve and the manhole wall.
