Title:
MANIFOLD DEVICE FOR TANGENTIAL FLOW TYPE FILTRATION AND MANIFOLD SEGMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3176974
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a manifold device which is capable of introducing fluid to filter modules and discharging the fluid therefrom without using external conduits for connecting of the filter modules.
CONSTITUTION: The manifold device consists of plural manifold segments (hereafter described as the segments) 2, 4, 6 which are connectable to each other. The segments have through-paths which are isolated from each other and communicate with a fluid feed inlet 14, a first filtrate outlet 16, a retenate outlet 18 and a second filtrate outlet 20. The segments are so connected that the respective through-paths are conducted. The segments are formed by holding the filter modules 22 stacked on their both surfaces by means of plates 19 and bolts 24, by which the respective through-paths of the segments are communicated with the feed liquid paths, filtrate paths and retenate paths delineated within the filter modules.
