To provide a manipulator for CCD setting-up of a structure, wherein the mounting/demounting work of the lead terminal of a CCD(charge-coupled device) to or from a socket is greatly simplified, a shortening of a working time is contrived, the working efficiency of facilities is contrived to enhance and moreover, the durability of contact terminals is enhanced to the insertion/ drawing-out of the lead terminals of the CCD in or from the contact terminals.
A socket 1 is mounted to a clamp unit 13 via a collar 7c using a mounting screw 7b, but the socket 1 is floated on the unit 13 because a clearance is provided between this collar 7c and the socket 1. Accordingly, the socket 1 can follow also to a minute motion in joining a CCD with the socket 1. Moreover, contact terminals 4 are U-shaped contact terminals, are operated so that they can be inserted or drawn out in or from the socket 1 by a low insertion/ drawing-out force and the durability of the terminals 4 is also enhanced. A mounting of lead terminals 10a to the socket 1 can be executed simultaneously with a clamping of the terminals 10a, a demounting of the terminals 10a from the socket 1 can be conducted by simply making the unit 13 retreat after the CCD 10 is mounted the socket 1, and a shortening of a work and an automatization of the work are contrived.
