PURPOSE: To provide a small mannal operating device of a switch which is easy to operate and can ensure displaying of the state of a circuit breaker.

CONSTITUTION: A lever type handle 11 for turning a switch 1 on and off is held by means of the U-shaped leg portion 24a of a operation panel 24, and when a control handle 21 is rotated on a plane perpendicular to that on which the lever handle 11 is rotated, the engagement pin 23 of an engagement pin mounting plate 22 makes eccentric motion, pressing one of the oblong holes 24b of the operation panel 24; then the control panel 24 moves on a circular track along a circular guide groove 25a and rotates the lever type handle 11, thus allowing a controlling force to effectively act on the make-and-break action of a circuit breaker,, resulting in easier control while allowing setting of small play between the lever type handle 11 and the operation panel 24.
