Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the assemblage and make the structure small by furnishing a cylindrical groove part which guides the slide shaft part of a trip button, a yoke which constitutes a magnetic circuit at the time of over-current, and a movable iron piece which rotates with sliding of the trip button.
CONSTITUTION: When pushed down, a trip button 11 moves along a cylindrical groove 12b at an insulative case 12 which is secured to a sheath base. A movable iron piece 18 is pressed and rotated by a protrusion 11e formed on the undersurface of an arm 11c, and an attraction part 18d of this iron piece 18 is attracted to the upper part of the stationary core part 16 of an electric magnet. At this time, a tripping bar situated outside is moved by the lever part 18e of the iron piece 18 so that the detaining part of a latch mechanism is disengaged, and the electric path is put in the open state. The core part 16 is inserted through a hole 15b in a yoke 15 fixed to the base and attracts the iron piece 18 even when a shortcircuiting current flows. When the button 11 is released, restitution is made by a return spring 14, and the flange part 11g of the button is stopped at the detention surface of the case 12. At the same time, the iron piece 18 is also returned by a tensile spring 19.
