Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a manufacturing method and a manufacturing device for a bending pipe having non-round cross section in a good finishing condition.
CONSTITUTION: A float pipe expanding plug 12 having non-round cross section is inserted in and passed through the inner part of a straight pipe base stock by using a pulling member to expand the diameter of the pipe base stock and also, while guiding a part just at the front of expanding the diameter in the pipe base stock from the diameter direction with a guide member, the bending force is applied to the part just after expanding the diameter in the pipe base stock with a roller to manufacture the bending pipe having non-round cross section. The float pipe-expanding plug 12 is provided with a deforming part 12a whose diameter is gradually increased from the front end having smaller diameter than the inner diameter of the pipe base stock to the outer diameter having larger than the inner diameter of the pipe base stock, a center finishing part 12b having almost the same large diameter as the max. diameter of this deformed part and a rear end part 12c whose diameter is gradually decreased from the same outer diameter as this center finishing part.
