Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily manufacture the brazed sandwich panel having the desired curved surface without decreasing strength.
CONSTITUTION: The honeycomb panel is press-formed by using a couple of upper mold 2 and lower mold 4 constituted of forming parts 2a and 4a formed in a two-dimensional curved surface shape where a couple of facing surfaces conformable mutually are made to the forming surfaces, respectively and grid- shaped reinforcing parts 2b and 4b provided on the opposite sides to the forming surfaces of the respective forming parts 2a and 4a. The upper mold 2 and the lower mold 4 are made of the same material as the panel so as to attain the same coefficient of expansion as the honeycomb panel. Consequently, the honeycomb panel having the two-dimensional or three-dimensional curved surface can be easily manufactured without decreasing strength.
