In a process for manufacturing building materials and structures, as well as building slabs from fiber cement in accordance with the Hatschek method, wherein cement is used as binder and fibers, such as cellulose fibers, synthetic fibers, are used as reinforcement, a portion of the reinforcing fibers is substituted by frayed recycled materials and/or plastics waste material of frayed cellulose recycled materials and/or cellulose waste material.
