PURPOSE: To improve sound-proof and vibration damping effects with the melting of hot melt film resin due to heat and subsequent adhesion of a urethane foam to the main body of a carpet during thermal molding process by adhering the urethane foam to the rear of a packing layer in the main body of the carpet.

CONSTITUTION: Urethane is injected and allowed to foam by laying a hot melt film on the upper surface of a bottom force 21 of a urethane foaming die. The urethane foam thus molded is set by reversing it so that the hot melt film comes to a top force 22 side. Next, the main body 6 of a carpet heated by a heater is set on the hot melt film in such a manner that a packing layer is turned to face the urethane foam 11 side. Then the main body 6 of the carpet is molded by pressing the top force 22 against the bottom force 21. Subsequently, the hot melt film resin on the surface of the urethane foam 11 melts due to the heat of the main body 6 of the carpet, and the packing layer of the main body 6 of the carpet becomes junctioned to the urethane foam 11.
