Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a manufacture of cast steel shots and cast steel shots whereby the damage and wear of the shots in use can be reduced to prolong the service life and also the aggravation of work environment due to destruction of the shots can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION: A shock is given to the surface of a cast steel shot material obtained by spraying molten metal distributedly into a liquid to form multiple plastic work sections. Thus defects in dendrite of the cast steel shot material are diffused once, and the material is heat-treated to eliminate the defects.
