PURPOSE: To enable the method to be applicable to ceramic substrates for people's livelihood or general industries by manufacturing a ceramic tape containing a combination of glass powder and alumina powder in a specific ratio and using Ag having a small continuity resistance as a conductor.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of glass powder and alumina powder prepared to have a composition of 10-55wt.% MO, 0-30wt.% Al2O3, 45-70wt.% SiO2, and 0-30wt.% of B2O3 (where, the MO is CaO or MgO) is used as the material for manufacturing this ceramic substrate baked at a low temperature. A mixture of 50-65wt.% glass powder having such composition and the remaining amount of alumina powder is used as a paste material for forming a green tape and insulating layer. Through holes 11 for planting pins for connecting to the outside are provided through a first sheet 10a and, in order to form conductors in the through holes, Ag conductors are printed from a second sheet 10b side and Ag-Pd conductors are printed from the opposite side.
