PURPOSE: To provide the manufacture of a cloth-covered metal plate, in which the cloth surface in the cloth-covered metal plate can be improved in appearance and adhesive can be dried efficiently.

CONSTITUTION: In the manufacture of a cloth-covered metal plate where a solvent type adhesive is applied to the surface of a metal plate and a cloth in lapped over the applied surface and heated so that they are stuck together, the drying by heating process of the adhesive is performed by an induction heating system. Thus, the adhesive can be dried efficiently without the impairment of the appearance of the covering cloth.
